Global Impact

This project impacts on Social, Economical and Environmental aspects

Planet
Low impact
From: Climate impact of new buildings, both in terms of waste generation and CO2 emissions.

Putting empty houses on the market so that they can be put to use quickly and efficiently.
Drastic reduction of waste generated in new constructions.
People
Affordable Housing
From: Significant number of people in exclusion (refugees,…) or at risk of residential exclusion (young people, middle class, immigrants,…).

Social inclusion starting with housing: facilitating the social integration of people at (risk of) residential exclusion through access to decent housing.
Profit
Sustainable Development

From: A large number of empty homes whose owners do not rent out because they are «afraid» of whom or how to rent them. There is a systemic legal failure whereby landlords are not protected.

  • Prioritisation of refurbishment over new construction: Circular Economy.
  • Reuse saves 2/3 of time and money compared to new construction.
  • Introduce innovations in legal security that give greater real pro- tection to landowners.

CO2 Emissions

Empty homes reused on the market have a substantial impact on the environment and the carbon footprint associated with construction.

By applying circular economy principles and extending the life  cycle  of  the houses, we avoid both the generation of new construction waste and CO2 emissions.

We want to contribute to the change of economic model in the construction sector: prioritising renovation over new construction.

SDGs

Our project works in line with SDGs

Achieving savings through our commitment to a more planet-friendly real estate model by embracing a regenerative economy over new construction, maximizing the reuse of existing resources.

Carbon and Waste Avoided (drastic reduction of new construction) by putting empty houses on the market quickly and efficiently.

Innovative Conscious Collaborative Accords that facilitate access to affordable housing for individuals at (risk of) residential exclusion.
